GERMAN METTLACH RELIEF CERAMIC STEINS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a mold number 171 example, a mold number 1266 example, and a mold number 2086 example, each having ceramic inset metal lid. 171 with impressed "171 / 4" mark, 1266 with printed "VILLEROY & BOCH / METTLACH" mark to base, 2086 with impressed "METTLACH / VB" mark, each with additional impressed numerals. Late 19th/early 20th century.

Condition: Two undamaged with minor wear; 171 example with roughness to interior rim and hairline to base with manufacturing flaw, and a small flake to bas-relief decoration; 171 and 1266 examples with areas of light discoloration to interior.

Size: 5 7/8" to 7 1/8" HOA.
