gourd, with gilt brass mounts and associated gilt-metal domed foot and knopped finial

Condition Report:
Overall the condition of the cup is very good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some minor warping to the gourd and to the brass mounts, causing the cover to fit slightly awkwardly on the cup, and the cup to sit slightly askew on its foot. There is some stable splitting to the gourd at the cover and some glue has been applied for reinforcement, it is possible some parts may have been reattached and there is a small hole. There is minor oxidation to the brass mounts throughout. The gourd is slightly loose within its mounts but stable. There are minor scratches and standard surface abrasions in areas.
