German World War II Heer M35 single decal helmet in a shell maker/size "NS66" and lot number of "D233". Shell exterior retains approximately 45% of its smooth gray-green paint, with heavy freckling, stains, and white paint. Shell interior retains approximately 45% of its smooth paint with dust and freckling. Toned Heer eagle rates approximately 55%, with era-applied lacquer. Original liner is very dark and has heavy wear, damage and staining. Drawstring is present. Aluminum liner band with what appears to have undisturbed rivets. A reproduction chinstrap is attached.
