German World War II Heer M42 single decal helmet in a shell maker/size "hkp6x" and lot number of "1928". Shell exterior retains approximately 75% of its rough gray-green paint, with freckling, stains, and white paint. Shell interior retains approximately 80% of its rough paint with dust and freckling. Heer eagle rates approximately 60%, with era-applied lacquer. Original liner has moderate wear with staining, dryness, with one tongue hole ripped through. Size "56" ink stamp. Drawstring is present. Zinc liner band with what appears to have undisturbed rivets. An original chinstrap with steel fittings and heavy wear is present. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
