GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE DAGGER WITH HANGERS AND OFFICER'S BROCADE DRESS BELT.

German World War II Kriegsmarine dagger with a Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie knight's head proof marked nickel plated blade that is double acid-etched with the classic anchor naval pattern. Moderate patina with spots of freckling and rubbing. The brass fittings retain pleasing amounts of their gilt finish. Ivory grip has a nice patina with its brass wire intact, but slightly loose. The brass scabbard retains nice amounts of its original gilding, with patina throughout. The dagger is displayed in a wood case with hangers and Kriegsmarine Line Officer’s belt and buckle. The belt is 2" wide and constructed of silver brocade. The reverse features fine Navy-Blue rayon material. Nicely detailed with a gilt finish and burnished highlights. Mostly undamaged, without corrosion, and with an attractive light age toning. CONDITION: Good. Blade Length: 10" Overall Length: 15"
