GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET

German WWII Waffen SS M42 single decal helmet marked "ckl64" for the maker of "Eisenhuttenwerke Thale", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "3872". Shell retains 55-60% of its original rough gray-green paint, with most of the wear on the upper half. Interior retains approximately 50% of its untouched rough gray-green finish. SS decal is a "Pocher" and is in 90+% condition with the required era coat of lacquer, which shows up nicely with a blacklight. The rank and name of the SS soldier "Oscha Staus" is painted in an aged white paint on the rear skit. The rank is for a SS "Oberscharfueher" or NCO senior platoon leader. Original zinc liner band is present and is untouched. Liner is complete, untouched, in a nice light tan color, with a size stamp of "57", and some light to medium staining/ fraying to the leather. Original drawstring is present. Original chinstrap with steel fittings, with some light wear, and a "RBNr". A very desirable untouched, complete, and named (possibly researchable) M42 SS combat helmet. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. WZ Condition: Dimensions:
