Officer’s spiked helmet from the Infantry Regiment of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, No. 89, 2nd Battalion, with a patent-leather crown and gilded brass fittings, central star-shaped plate with the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy in nickel silver at the center, flat-scale chinstraps in gilded brass, Reich and Grand Duchy cockades, long removable spike, green satinette liner (showing wear), brown leather headband, not re-punched.
