GERMANY. SAXONY-ANHALT. Model 1895 infantry helmet from the 93rd Infantry Regiment of the Duchy of Anhalt, with a black patent leather crown and brass fittings, front plate featuring an eagle with the inscription "Gott für Fürst und Vaterland" and a nickel-silver center bearing the coat of arms of the Duchy of Anhalt, well-preserved Reich and Duchy cockades, leather chin strap, marked inside the helmet with "A.J.R. 93," 1913, (Anhaltische Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 93), and on the neck strap “R.J.R.36. I. B,” the Duchy’s reserve regiment; not re-drilled. Helmet in near-mint condition. TBE Collection of Master Luc Girard.
