Circa 1925, the Netherlands. Art Deco Amsterdam School rare side table with pewter top. The dish (design no 7800) is marked with GERO (the hallmark used in Denmark) . The maker of the table can be attributed to Hero de Groot from Bodegraven. To date, no other existing table is known. The dish was made for the benefit of serving tables to be made by third parties. The tables and the dish are already mentioned in an old GERO catalogue from 1928 (see the photos) . Given the size, pick up is preferred.
