A classic '80s G.I. Joe figure, Hake's Senior Consignment Manager Mike Bollinger had this to say in regards to the enduring popularity of Snake Eyes - "Snake Eyes is easily one of, if not the most popular character in the G.I. Joe cast of characters, and is regularly considered an icon of 1980s toylines. Released during the martial arts and ninja craze that was sweeping America, this mysterious, black-clad Commando character just radiated that "it" factor, flying off toystore shelves and into many a backyard adventure. Many G.I. Joe fans and collectors of today "caught the bug" from this first Snake Eyes figure from their youth."
