Linear, split shoulders are prong-set with diamonds of exceptional color and clarity. The outer diamond lines arch around the gemstone, creating a halo effect. Baguette diamonds adjacent to the bezel add to the contemporary appeal of this ring. This ring has a supportive ribbed inner gallery and an approximate 4mm shank, where the Oscar Friedman hallmark, precious metal stamp, and gemstone weights can be found. The Paraiba Tourmaline is one of the newest gemstones known to man. Discovered in Brazil in the late 1980's, it has become one of the most prized gemstones in the tourmaline family. Paraiba Tourmaline are also found in Nigeria and Mozambique. Even though they are not from Paraiba Brazil, The Laboratory Manual Harmonisation Committee (LMHC)***, agrees these tourmalines should be called Paraiba, due to their neon colors and vivid hues. The primary purpose of LMHC is to work towards the harmonisation of gemological report language. The LMHC is not formally connected to any trade organization. Please inquire about sizing if needed, and allow an additional 10 days for shipping if we resize it.
