A Superb 164 Piece Sterling Silver Flatware Set Complete 8 Serving Pieces and 8 Anti-Tarnish Wraps by Internationally Known French Silversmith Charles Victor Gibert (circa 1895). The Gibert Family Firm was Established in Paris in 1887 and was Regularly Patronized by the French Aristocracy. Includes an Astounding Assortment of 8 Serving Pieces and 8 Individual Anti-Tarnish Wraps - 7 Wraps Hold 24 Pieces and 1 Holds 12 Pieces. No Monograms on Any of the Pieces Except for the Family Crest, which is Extremely Rare - An Extraordinary Find for a Set of This Quality. This set is in excellent condition and is of very high quality. Each piece bears the hallmark of Master French Silversmith "Charles Victor Gibert" in addition to the French Government's Head of the Minerva - 1 Hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver. There are no monograms on any of the pieces, except for the Family Crest of the noble family who commissioned the set - it is engraved on each piece. This set is of exceptional quality and craftsmanship (check the weights and measures below) and would be comparable to a Puiforcat set in quality.
