The current portrait is assumed to be of Eleanora Boncampagni Borghese (1642-1695) and bears a striking similarity to other portraits of her, particularly one in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. For comparable reference, see Sotheby's, London, December 7 2017, lot 187
