A great theater-made relic, an American G.I.'s 'sweetheart bracelet' showing the soldier's extensive combat history. Made entirely of salvaged aluminum in a trench-art style, the large center panel reads: '1944 NAPLES DO NOT FORGET ME' with images of the city, Vesuvius, and an arrow piercing a heart. Each of the other segments of the bracelets show a theater or battle in which the soldier fought, including: 'CASERTA...SICILY...AFRICA...ROME...ANZIO...CASSINO' Very good.
