GOOD PAIR OF SMALL FOLDING TRIGGER PERCUSSION
SCREW BARREL POCKET PISTOLS WITH IVORY GRIPS. Cal. 45. S# 294 (both). This attractive pair of pistols has no proofs or markings to determine origin, however they appear to be Belgian. They have 1-3/4" damascus screw barrels. Boxlock actions with center hung percussion hammers and folding triggers that emerge when cocked are engraved with open scroll. S# is on the bottom of each action near barrel. Pistols are fitted with nicely carved ivory bag grips with well formed side panels. CONDITION: very good to fine retaining most of original finish on barrels. Actions appear to be silver plated but very dark. Grips are good with some old dark checks. Bores are good; mechanically good. (01-30185/MGM). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
