This painting shows three women who tried to catch a barramundi by pushing a wall of spinife through the water in dreamtime. The barramundi got away and jumped right over the ranges north of the Argyle diamond mine leaving its scales there to become the diamonds. The women went down to a place called Gawinyn or Cattle Creek Rockhole on the Bow River and stood at the edge of the water.
They turned to stone and you can still see them standing there today.
