GORHAM STERLING SILVER NUTMEG GRATER

GORHAM STERLING SILVER NUTMEG GRATER, cylindrical form, having scrolled, floral, and shell accents, topped by a hinged lid with engraved "LSH" initials, connected to a side covering that opens to an interior metal grater. Base impressed with the three Gorham pseudo hallmarks above "STERLING / & OTHER METALS / 15" and an 1897 date mark. Total weight including non-sterling components: 1.755 ozt. Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. Circa 1897. 2 5/8" HOA.
Condition Report: Grater with some spots and areas of corrosion, otherwise in very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks.
