GRAECO-BACTRIAN GOLD PENDANT WITH CABOCHON

Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A gold pendant of cylindrical form, decorated with ribbed and beaded collars, arranged in horizontal registers. The lower end is set with a red glass cabochon within a plain circular frame. A simple suspension loop is attached above. Size: 44mm x 12mm; Weight: 8.2g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s–2000.
