Dim. 92 x 108 cm. Large fold-out map, lithographically printed, with the author's handwritten signature at the foot of the map. Four colors were used. Large, very detailed map showing dwellings, rivers, mountains, and roads. The map paper was mounted on a cream fabric and the edges of the cartography are finished with a silk ribbon, which gives the Map great refinement.
Copy that belonged to the 1st King of Italy Victor Emmanuel II (1861–1878) – last King of Sardinia and first King of a united Italy. Borrowing from the ancient Latin title Pater Patriae of the Roman emperors, the Italians gave him the epithet Father of the Fatherland (in Italian: Padre della Patria).
The map has an elegant green leather case with romantic tooling, whose spine bears the legend of the Map stamped in gold.

Dim. 92 x 108 cm. Grande carte dépliante, imprimée en lithographie, avec la signature manuscrite de l’auteur au bas de la carte. Quatre couleurs ont été employées. Grande carte très détaillée représentant les habitations, les rivières, les montagnes et les routes. Le papier de la carte a été collé sur un tissu crème et les bords de la cartographie sont garnis d’un ruban de soie, ce qui confère au Mapa une grande élégance.
Exemplaire ayant appartenu au 1er roi d’Italie Victor Emmanuel II (1861–1878) – dernier roi de Sardaigne et premier roi de l’Italie unifiée. En empruntant l’ancien titre latin Pater Patriae des empereurs romains, les Italiens lui donnèrent l’épithète de Père de la Patrie (en italien : Padre della Patria).
La carte possède un élégant étui en cuir vert avec des fers romantiques, dont le dos porte la légende de la carte gravée en or.
