GRAPEWIN CHARLEY: (1869-1956) American character actor and circus performer, remembered for his portrayal of Uncle Henry in The Wizard of Oz (1939). A good, rare vintage signed and inscribed 9 x 13 photograph of Grapewin in a smiling head and shoulders pose wearing a hat, and with an inset portrait to the lower right of the actor in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Wang´s Father from The Good Earth (1937). Signed by Grapewin in fountain pen ink across a lighter area of the background of the image. A couple of very light, extremely minor corner creases, VG
