Beautiful and classic box leather: The quintessential Hermes leather. A veau, or calf leather, this leather has been around since Hermes has been making handbags. It is a smooth leather with a glossy finish that is susceptible to scratches. However, the scratches eventually blend into one glossy mirror-like patina, that box afficionados crave. Care must be taken with this leather when raining, if the raindrops are not wiped off, the leather will blister. Under the right care, box calf can last for generations..
This bag is in B, great condition.
Features box leather exterior and smooth interior. Zipper pocket and split slit pocket interior. Comes with 35" strap.
Exterior: Scratches throughout front, bottom and back (and inside flap). Good corners. Some color wear at each corner. Hardware in good condition with some scratching. Feet scratched.
Interior:Intentions natural with wear. Otherwise, great.
Stamps: B square(1998) 40 +
