Two-piece carriage folding parasol & compartmented parasol case, both of green silk taffeta, parasol handle of polished wood w/ black glass ball knob & finial, 3 corded balls at finial, case w/ handle of green silk embellished cord, gold tone kisslock closure, silk & chenille decorative tassel, lined in cream ribbed cotton w/ bevelled hand mirror, c. 1860, Parasol L 12.5”-25”, diam. 11.5”, Case L 14.5”-26”, Wd 3.25”-6.5” (tiny-2” areas shattering & two tiny holes case, several loose threads rope, looped balls & corded balls, some tiny-0.25” stains case, lt. disc. case int., cracked mirror, tarnished metal) Very good.
