A clean, wide-margined copy of the rare third of twenty-four known incunable editions of this popular collection of 50 Lenten sermons; and Zainer’s second edition. Provenance: early manuscript inscriptions on pastedown about the tidal effects of the moon and zodiacal signs – ?Germany (stamp on first leaf and first leaf of text).
