In the centre Christ in a mandorla, flanked by the archangels, holding the soul of his Mother in the form of a swaddled infant. In the foreground the hands of the profane Jewish priest being cut-off by an angel. In the heavenly realm the Assumption of the Mother of God. She seated on a throne with her hands extended in supplication. The Apostles on clouds, each accompanied by his guardian angel occupy the upper part of the composition. Verbund zweier Bretter mit zwei profilierten Rückseiten-Sponki. Eitempera auf Kreidegrund, Goldgrund. 50,5 x 42,5 cm. Achsialsymmetrische Komposition. Im unteren Bereich der Komposition die auf einem Bett ausgestreckte Gottesmutter. Hinter ihr steht Christus vor einer Strahlenmandorla. Zu beiden Seiten flankieren sie Engel und die Apostel. In der oberen Bildhälfte thront die von den Erzengeln umgebene Gottesmutter. Zu beiden Seiten schweben die von je einem Engel begleiteten Apostel auf Wolken.
