A group of three German badges from World War II. First and second are Submariners Badges in gold and silver. German military award first awarded by Emperor Wilhelm II on February 1, 1918. On October 13, 1939, it was reintroduced by the Commander in Chief of the Nazi German Navy, Erich Raeder. Designed by Paul Kasberg. Third is the U boat Front Clasp or U boat Combat Clasp, which was a World War II German Kriegsmarine military decoration awarded to holders of the U boat War Badge to recognize continued combat service and valor.
