the first, a circular Limoges enamel bonbonniere, the lid painted with a winged titian-haired woman wearing a green gown and reserved on a rose-colored ground, the sides with leaves and interior a solid green, brass rims, dia: 1 3/4 in.; the next, a small cube-shaped box, the exterior of black glass with gilt-metal borders, the interior a moss agate open cube the lid with a thin band of pale green enamel centered by a brown jade model of an elephant, marked under base 'Ges.Gesch (Registered Trademark) and Germany', h: 2 3/4 in.; a flattened round scent bottle with gilt-metal collar and cover, the guilloche enamel with a design of daisies on sky blue ground, h: 2 1/4 in.; and a pair of small flat circular powder compacts, the first of a lady dancing in the wood, the sides of underside in pale yellow guilloche enamel, the other with Gainsborough's 'Blue Boy' and the sides and underside in sky blue guilloche enamel, dia: 1 3/4 in.
