The pencils are all gold-plated: one by Conklin, one by Waterman's, one by Signet, two by Eversharp, and one unmarked. The fountain pens include three that are gold-plated: one Wahl number 3 inscribed "S.R.S.", one Waterman's 0552 1/2V, and one Parker Lucky Curve number 3 inscribed "G.P." The other three fountain pens are gold-toned, though one has a 14k nib.
