GROUP OF THREE BRITISH ROYAL COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS 1902 • 1911 • 1935 A charming collection of three original British royal commemorative medals spanning over 30 years of royal history. * 1902 King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra Coronation Medal – Borough of Morley issue, with municipal presentation reverse. * 1911 King George V & Queen Mary Coronation Medal – classic Britannia reverse commemorating the June 1911 coronation. * 1935 King George V & Queen Mary Silver Jubilee Medal – County of Middlesex presentation medal, issued to mark the King’s Silver Jubilee. All retain their original red, white and blue ribbons (showing age-related wear), with clear details and attractive original patina. These unofficial civic and commemorative issues were widely presented by local authorities and schools to celebrate major royal events and remain popular with collectors of royal memorabilia and British history. Good overall with age-related wear and ribbon fraying consistent with age. A lovely ready-made starter collection or display group of early 20th-century British royal commemorative medals.
