GROUPING OF LARRY H. DUNLOP, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION

Good grouping of materials from the military service of U.S. soldier Larry H. Dunlop, 82nd Airborne Division, including: green paratrooper garrison cap, 10.75 in. long x 5 in. tall, green wool construction, featuring circular Airborne (Glider) Insignia and green braid piping around the side panels. Leather sweatband bears Dunlop's name and home address in black ink. Slight staining on the interior, leather sweatband shows expected signs of wear, else near fine. Sold with two 82nd Airborne Division patches, an 8 in. souvenir wooden sword from Belgium, a metal ring fashioned from an English half-dollar by an Italian prisoner-of-war, and various other pieces of ephemera.
