Auf einem naturalistischen, felsig ansteigenden Sockel die dynamisch komponierte und dramatisch bewegte Darstellung einer antikisierenden Kriegerin auf einem sich aufbäumenden Pferd. Mit weit erhobenem Arm stößt sie eine Lanze auf eine große Raubkatze herab, die sich an der Flanke des Pferdes festkrallt. Sehr fein ausgeformte, qualitätvolle Modellierung, insbesondere in den anatomischen Details von Mensch und Tier sowie im wehenden Faltenwurf des Gewandes. Auf der unglasierten Unterseite die tiefgeprägte Modellnummer „1189“. Maße: Höhe ca. 23 cm. Unbesch.

Probably Thuringia. 20th century. Biscuit porcelain, white, matted. Detachable lance made of metal. On a naturalistic, rocky rising base, the dynamically composed and dramatically animated depiction of an antique-style female warrior on a rearing horse. With arm raised high, she thrusts a lance down onto a large predator, which clings to the horse’s flank. Very finely executed, high-quality modeling, particularly in the anatomical details of the human and animal figures as well as in the flowing folds of the garment. On the unglazed underside, the deeply impressed model number “1189”. Dimensions: height approx. 23 cm. Undamaged.
