Inscription: Inscribed, signed and dated below the image in the plate: "RHL van Ryn, pinx 1630 [6 spielgelverkehrt], G. F. Schmidt fec. aqua for. 1768. dedicated to the Royal Body and Field Medico, Mr. Court Councillor F. G. Lesser, by his friend Schmidt. Tiré du Cabinet de Mr. Cèsar.", verso variously numbered and inscribed in pencil by a foreign hand.
