Inscription: Unterhalb der Darstellung in der in der Platte bezeichnet, signiert und datiert: "Rembrand, pinx., G.f. Schmidt fec. Aqua forti, 1771. Lot with its Daughters, Dedicated to his Royal Highness Mgr. Prince Henry of Prussia, Brother of the King. the Original Painting is in the Collection of His Royal Highness. By his most humble and obedient Servant Schmidt.
