GUERIDON "A FLEURS",

Transition, attributable to P. ROUSSEL (Pierre Roussel, maître 1745), Paris ca. 1765.

Tulipwood, rosewood and partly tinted precious woods in veneer, finely inlaid with flowers, foliage, cartouches and decorative freeze. Top edged in brass. Front with 2 sans-traverse drawers, the top drawer with a leather-lined, hinged leaf, and with compartments for writing utensils. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Free-standing. Restorations to the marquetry.
