Lot of two sheets: 1. Woman with a cushion; 2. Woman with a cross. Circa 1590-1600.
Etchings.
Auf der Rückseite jeweils mit Bleistift bezeichnet: 1. stato.
16 x 7.9 cm and 16.1 x 7.7 cm (both sheet size).

Bartsch 48 and 49 (the attribution to Guido Reni adopted by Bartsch, Nagler and Le Blanc is questioned by Veronika Birke, who assigns the sheets to PARMIGIANINO.). - Fine, clear and even impressions, each with margins around the borderline and/or with the partly visible platemark. With light traces of wear. No.1 with small abrasion at upper margin. The verso of each somewhat browned and with annotations in pencil. Overall in fine condition.
