GUTTA PERCHA, GLASS, BRASS DAGUERREOTYPE C. 1860 H 3.7", 7.2" W 3.5" A double daguerreotype depicting a man and two young girls. The guttapercha case is molded with elaborate patterns depicting various themes of Americana. The brass stand is modern.
Condition Report: Good condition; a few large chips on lower gutta-percha case at the clasp; glass is not cracked. Image of girls is very faded and can only be seen when reflective light is at a perfect angle.
