Bio
Gaby Acevedo was born in Mar del Plata (1972) .
For several years he has used artistic practice to reflect on how the urban influences his daily life. Thus resignifying spaces as new areas or atmospheres. The idea marks the expressive medium to use through photography, paintings and other practices that respond to his vision of art as a way of being or being in the world.
His work is part of private collections in Argentina, Europe, USA, United Kingdom and other countries around the world. He has exhibited since 2001 in different halls and museums collectively and individually.
It was selected and awarded in different Art Salons.
National Arts Fund Stimulus Award, Contemporary Art Painting Biennial Argentina 2015 (among others) .
