Pipistrello has been produced by Martinelli Luce since the 1950s and to this day it is an icon of Italian design. The Pipistrello lamp was designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965, and subsequently produced to this day by Martinelli Luce. It is a table lamp marked by the elusive shape of the conical base that expands upwards widening in the ribbing of the diffuser, like a bat spreading its wings. The lamp consists of an opaline methacrylate diffuser, a telescopic metal body and a white-lacquered metal base. The light source consists of 4x included E14 LED. The switch is on the power cord.
