Gagné (possibly Paul August Gagné) - Sculpture, a pair or 'warrior putti' (2) - Bronze (patinated) - Second half 19th century
Set of so-called 'warrior putti', in armour, with helmets and weapons.
. Beautifully detailed sculptures, signed Gagne; possibly the French artist Paul-Auguste Gagné. Also numbered (both 3869) . In the lances are openings; probably they served as bobèches for candles. However, the alleged loss is definitely not disruptive.
. One figurine has some fairly recent screws on the underside. See the photo.
