Garrard & Co. | Sapphire and diamond ring, 1960s

Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 5.12 carats, between shoulders set with trapezoid diamonds, size G1/2 (sizing beads).

Accompanied by two gemmological reports and a receipt from Garrard & Co, dated 1964.

Condition Report:
Accompanied by GCS report no. 79205-70, dated 18th March 2019, stating that the sapphire measuring approximately 9.5 x 8.3 x 66.9mm is Kashmir, no indications of heating; also accompanied by AGL report no. 1116856, dated 2nd August 2021, stating that the sapphire measuring 9.59 x 8.33 x 6.98mm and weighing 5.12 carats is Kashmir, no indications of heating.

Accompanied by a receipt and insurance valuation from Garrard & Co, dated 1964.

Unsigned however receipt states that the mounting is platinum. Sapphire with points of wear and abrasions to mainly facet edges and girdle, evidence of very minor crystal inclusion not visible to naked eye. Gross weight approximately 4.3 grams. Overall condition good.
