Gaziantep Kilim

Drawn to perfection, this kilim presents eight wide horizontal stripes of identical design in a mirror-image composition whose axis is the ninth narrow strip at the centre of the field. The field and borders were woven separately. Very good quality.

Condition
The lower finish has been rewoven in places. Minor restorations. Otherwise in good condition. Woven in three panels.
