Designed as a bird of paradise, composed of cabochon turquoises highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, the crest enhanced with circular-cut rubies and the eye with a cabochon emerald, signed Cartier.
Condition Report:
Signed Cartier inc. Inscribed MADE IN FRANCE. Stamped 18K and 750 for 18 carat gold, and stamped PT900 for platinum. Cabochon turquoises, with good lustre and minor scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 3.00 carats, on average G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Rubies and emerald with typical surface-reaching inclusions, a few signs of age. Scratches and tarnish to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 33 grams.
