Gem set long chain, late 19th century
Spectacle-set at intervals with variously cut gemstones, including zircons, coral, amethyst, garnet, peridot, sapphire, yellow sapphire, turquoise, topaz, diamond, aquamarine, green glass, seed pearl, emerald, and opal, length approximately 1760mm.
Condition Report:
Unsigned. One garnet with crack running through stone - held together by setting. Remaining stones with various small chips, abrasions, wear to facet edges. Collet edges with some losses and some solder repairs. Composite piece with 19th century elements. Condition commensurate with age and wear. Some stones possibly later replacements. Gross weight approximately 31 grams.
