Gemini Mission Rules Manuals
Uncommon collection of five “Mission Rules” manuals from the personal collection of a flight controller at the Manned Spacecraft Center, comprised of revised and preliminary manuals for Gemini missions 1-3, 5, and 6A, each bearing handwritten notations and individually presented in three-ring binders. The manuals are as follows:
Mission Rules for the Gemini I mission (GT-1), Revision 3, March 26, 1964.
Mission Rules for the Gemini 2 mission (GT-2), Revision 4, December 25, 1964.
Mission Rules for the Gemini 3 mission (GT-3), Revision 8, March 23, 1965.
Mission Rules for the Gemini 5 mission (GT-5), Revision 3, August 14, 1965.
Mission Rules for the Gemini 6A mission (GT-VIA), Preliminary (REV A), November 20, 1965.
In overall very good to fine condition, with evident signs of use and age. Originates from the personal collection of Manfred 'Dutch' von Ehrenfried, a Mercury, Gemini and Apollo Flight Controller, Apollo Pressure Suit Test Subject, NASA hi-altitude aircraft crew member, Mission Staff Engineer and Branch Chief from 1961–1971.
