Gemstone: Morganite - 82.94 Cts. Brazil The stone featured here is a Morganite, which is the pink variety of Beryl. Most people are familiar with the blue and green varieties of Beryl, otherwise known as Aquamarine and Emerald. This species of material is coveted for its stunning colors, as well as the ability to be cut into stunning gemstones. This enormous stone weighs in at nearly 83 carats and features a classic oval shape. The main body color of this large stone is a lovely pink with a subtle orangey-peach undertone. The pink hue is well balanced, while the brilliant facets create mesmerizing scintillation. The massive pink-peach stone is in excellent condition, with only a small nick to the girdle. Due to its peachy hue, this stone was most likely not treated, but there are slight eye-visible inclusions. Measurements: 33.03 x 25.76 x 16.26 mm, 82.94 cts.
