Gemstone: "Paraíba-Type" Tourmaline - 5.11 Cts. Nigeria This spectacular round gemstone is a "Paraíba-Type" Tourmaline, meaning it is a Copper-bearing Tourmaline. This variety is highly sought after due to its greenish-blue hue created by the inclusion of trace amounts of Copper. This stone displays an incredible teal-blue color. The body color is very well-balanced and highly saturated. The round stone has been expertly cut to maximize color and features a modified brilliant cut.
