Gemstone: Peridot - 66.69 Cts. Presumed Pakistan This ample green gemstone is a Peridot, most likely from Pakistan. Based on the color and size, Pakistan is a leading producer of this material, which features a vibrant and rich green coloration. Currently, geologic identification is unavailable for Peridot from the major gemstone labs. This nearly 67-carat behemoth gem has a well-balanced, nicely saturated, slightly yellowish green body color. The oval stone has mixed-cut faceting with nice scintillation and brilliance. Peridot is prized for its color and the fact that it is an untreated stone. This exemplary example is eye-clean with only two nicks, one on the girdle and one on the pavilion.
