Gemstone: Tourmaline - 28.17 Cts. Locality Unknown This sizable Tourmaline has a unique and bewitching orangy red hue. The dazzling 28+ carat gem has an attractive elongated cushion shape with modified brilliant facets. The stone comes to life when moved, and the viewer is struck with strong scintillation and good brilliance. The stone is well-balanced in terms of both cut and color. Light dances across the stone beautifully as it is eye-clean and in good overall condition, with only very minor nicks to some of the facet junctions. One end has more orange coloration than the other, which creates a visually interesting specimen. Color is king with colored stones, and this Tourmaline has that in abundance.
