A fine vintage stainless steel Tudor wrist watch by the high end Swiss company Rolex.
The watch has a silvered dial with batons and Arabic numeral hours. It has silver hands and a subsidiary seconds dial with sweeping hand.
The crown reads ‘Rolex Oyster’.
The dial should read ‘Rolex’ plus other info but most of the wording has worn off. Part of the word ‘Tudor’ is still visible as well as ‘Shock Resist’.
The case back reads ‘Oyster By Rolex’ and has serial numbers of ‘272009’ and ‘7927’.
The inside of the case-back reads ‘Montres Tudor SA’. It also reads that it is Swiss made and of stainless steel.
The manual wind movement is named ‘Tudor’ and reads ‘Swiss Made, 17 Rubies’.
The watch comes on a more modern brown leather strap.

The dial has a diameter of 2.5cm.
The watch has a total length of 23.5cm (9 ¼ inches).
It weighs 38g.
~ Condition ~
The dial has some wear and discolouration but is in quite a reasonable condition otherwise. The case has a couple of scratches to the reverse and there are a couple of scratches to the lugs.
Overall the watch is in a good condition for used piece of this age.
The watch is in good working order.
