Georg Jensen silver-gilt Year spoons (8)
Georg Jensen, a collection of eight silver-gilt Year spoons, for 1973 through to 1979, and a later example for 1983, each with a different enamelled flower or plant motif to terminal. Stamped STERLING DENMARK with Georg Jensen oval bead maker's mark and designer's mark RA AB (1983 spoon stamped AB). Length 15cm, gross weight (including cellophane) 11.78ozt (366.6g). Each in Georg Jensen black box. (8).
Condition Report:
- Five spoons still in sealed cellophane - 1975, 1977,1978, 1979, 1983; these showing a little tarnishing/blackening to some areas but otherwise good
- Other three spoons with some heavier patches and spots of tarnishing/blackening, and some light surface marks and scratches
- Enamel in good condition
- Stamped marks located to reverse of stems
- Two booklets missing - for 1975 and 1983 spoons
- Boxes in good overall condition with minimal wear; some surface marks and scuffs; remnants of tape to 1974 box
