She is seated among shields, a cuirass and sword; the maid at left pouring the the ashes into the cup held by Artemisia; through a window at right view of the mausoleum and Artemisia burning the body of King Mausolus on a pyre. Engraving made by: Georg Pencz, titled in a cartouche on top and signed PG on the shield. c.1539
